Emission Spectroscopy of CH4/CO2 Mixtures Processed in a Non-Thermal Plasma Augmented Burner

The need for energy resources that do not belong to the group of fossil fuels and a wide availability various low-calorific gases leads humanity search solutions adapt external sources force would allow use these resources. One such is usage non-thermal plasma applications pre-ignition stage, ignition, and, finally, combustion. Plasma assistance promising technology improving processes ignition flame stabilization, as well propagating speed. This study focuses on influence both CH4, CO2 gases, their mixture in stage by performing emission spectroscopy, determining tendency excited species at different frequency rates optimal parameters reduce NO formation increase efficiency during results obtained exhibit non-linear dependence radical’s from plasma. As an example possible profits correctly choosing parameters, calorific value increased 2.86 times BG25/75 4.78 BG30/70. However, decomposition higher frequencies causes nitrogen-bands emissions, which NOx emissions combustion process.
